PURCHASING A PUPPY

Step 1. Choose your puppy/reserve a puppy selection:

  • Go to the Puppies page to select the litter that you would like a puppy from.

  • Contact us and we will answer any questions you may have about our puppies and get to know you!

  • Once we have contacted you to confirm availability, Reserve a puppy by placing a deposit to hold your spot!  We require a $300 deposit that can be made via the PayPal or Venmo link below. We also accept cash and checks. If, for any reason,​ your puppy selection is not available, we will contact you immediately and refund your deposit within 24 hours.

Step 2. Once we've received your deposit, you will be added to our “Puppy Family” list.

  • When the puppies are between 6 weeks old we will contact you to schedule your appointment to pick up your new family member on Puppy Pick-up weekend (at eight weeks old)! Order of puppy selection is based on the order in which your deposit is received. We wait until the puppies are 8 weeks because the traits and the personalities of each puppy begins to really show. This allows families to make a better decision on which dog will be the best fit for your family.

  • Make sure to follow our Facebook page so you can watch all the videos/pictures we post of the puppies as they grow so you can get to know them a little better before you make your pick and because they are just so fun at this age!  We also create a picture site for each litter and send a link to our "waiting puppy families" (those who have reserved a puppy) with extra videos + pictures.

  • Get your home ready to bring a puppy home!  We will send you more details and ideas to help with this as the time gets closer (food, supplies, etc.)

Step 3: Pick out (and pick up!) your new puppy!

  • YAY!  It's the day you have been waiting for.  This is always such a bittersweet day for us as it is hard to see the puppies go, so but we love to meet their new families. A few weeks before pick-up time, we will send an email with information and suggestions of things to buy as you bring a new puppy into your home. 

  • If, for personal reasons, you are unable to pick up your puppy by 8 weeks of age, a $50 per week boarding fee may be charged after they reach 9 weeks old.

Our reservation list can fill up quickly, please keep this in mind and plan ahead when choosing your new family addition. We look forward to helping you find the best companion for your family and we are so excited to bring more joy to your home through a sweet + healthy puppy!

We will only accept payment in the form of cash or Venmo at the time of pickup. You may send a bank check or Money Order made out to Philip Ottum (7) days prior to pickup in order to give it time to clear before picking your puppy up.
